Hello everyone!
I know this newsletter is usually biweekly, but I got something exciting to share! So here is your special edition. 🧡
🗓 DET Bitchin’ Event Calendar
“What conferences would you recommend for data engineers?”
“What? There was a data engineering meetup last week? I totally missed that!”
There are so many data events happening every week everywhere: webinars, meetups, conferences, etc. It’s very hard to keep track of them or know what events are relevant for data engineers.
What if there is a credible single place that curates all the great DE events?
Introducing the DET Bitchin’ Event Calendar: 🎯
The easiest way to view the calendar is by visiting the DET website: www.dataengineerthings.org/events/.
Underneath, it is a public Google Calendar. So you can subscribe to our calendar for easier access, using this URL. Once it’s added, you can toggle it on/off to display/hide it on your personal calendar anytime (Google, Apple, Outlook, etc).
The calendar includes more than DET-hosted events and everyone can contribute! To recommend adding any DE events, fill out this form.
Talking about DE events, we have a bunch coming up this week:
[DET Webinar] Data Integration with Apache SeaTunnel on Aug 11
[DET Book Club] Fundamentals of Data Engineering Chapter #1 on Aug 12
[DET x SeattleDataGuy] The Power Of Technical Writing on Aug 12
Data Con LA (largest data conference in Southern CA) on Aug 12
👉🏼 Sign-up links are all available on DET Bitchin’ Event Calendar.
