Some people say “The key to career growth is meeting the right people at the right time”. The me 10 years ago wouldn’t believe it at all, but now, after 7 years as a data engineer, I can’t recommend enough investing in building a professional network.
Attending meetups or conferences aren’t the only ways to make professional connections. In fact, I found 1:1s more suitable for my introverted personality.
